VWC goes 3-1 in PSP prelims at MAO
Velocity Wrecking Crew went 3-1 in prelims on Thursday at the Mid
Atlantic Open. Fighting their way out of the Ocho's the team ended its
weekend in 8th place. Not a bad finish for the teams first ever X-Ball
event. Looking to build off this event the team will get back to work for
the next even Chicago!

VWC TAKES FIRST AT CHICAGO OPEN!!!
Velocity Wrecking Crew went 4-0 in the prelims of the Chicago open.
Advancing to the Ocho's the team battled through their bracket to
advance to the round of 4. Winning our semifinal match 5-1 moving on to
the finals as the #1 seed. Playing a tough match with a tough team Fierce
Heat, VWC won the match 5-3. Winning the Chicago Open!!!

Velocity Wrecking Crew will continue its 5 year relationship with Velocity
Paintball new home of the Golden State Ironmen. For the 2008 season
VWC will be playing all of the PSP division 3 X-Ball events. Moving on to 5
man X-Ball will be a challenge but with the help of the Ironmen and all of
our support group the team will have no problem getting on track.

them a spot in the semifinals on Saturday. They bounced back from a
loss on Friday to beat that same team, NCPA All Stars, Saturday 5-0
and Total Karnage 5-1. This sent them to the final four on Sunday as
the top seed. They beat DSSp8ntball.com 5-3 and faced undefeated
Team Unlimited for the Championship. VWC was behind 3-1 with 3
minutes to go in regulation and were able to tie the match before time
ran out forcing overtime play. VWC took the NEO win 4-3 securing the
lead in season ranking.
