Wrecking Crew was formed in July of 2004 to play in the Velocity Summer
Series Beginner division. The team consisted of Eric Humphreys, Luke
Manzano, Dylan and Jake Lincoln. Today the team consists of. . The team
is coached by Steve Humphreys who has played on the Velocity sponsored
teams of Inferno and Navarone. Also coached by Leif Kellenberger Sr. who
played with Killamillion and is the owner of KM Straps.
Wrecking Crew played two seasons in the VSS before moving on to the
Young Guns Division of XPSL in 2005, and added NPPL in 2006. Also in
2006 Wrecking Crew added Velocity to their name, becoming Velocity
Wrecking Crew. The Crew placed 2nd in the overall standings of the XPSL
young guns division in 2006. In 2007 VWC played 7 man for the first time
in XPSL. Taking the overall series championship.
Velocity Wrecking Crew will be playing in all of the PSP division 3 X-Ball
events in 2008. Wrecking Crew will continue its 5 year relationship with
Velocity Paintball in 2008. Once again Dye is the gear of choice for VWC.
The team will be wearing Dye gear from head to toe.
Velocity Wrecking Crew strives to promote a positive image, sportsmanship,
and fair play. The Crew aims to be role models for younger players and
players just starting out in recreation and tournament play. Velocity
Wrecking Crew takes on the challenge of seeing paintball grow in a
positive direction.
